I remember I was at a point, not too long ago, when I completely pushed my dreams aside because the valleys were too deep. The oceans were too wide. And the mountains too high to climb. There were times when my dreams would flee into the darkness behind my eyes. Times when everything I saw in front of me defied everything I saw in my future. I’ve had moments–some not that long ago– that made me want to shut my eyes and let the clouds prevail. But there is something in me that just won’t die. There is something in me that refuses to surrender to mediocrity–something inside me that knows there’s more to this life than I could ever imagine. If only I could get out of my own way. If only you could get out of your own way. To dream with your eyes and your heart wide open.
